Bio

Jennifer grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Pratt Institute, where she studied illustration. Working primarily in watercolor and gouache, her work has appeared in many magazines and newspapers.

She has also taught art to Brooklyn Public School students, and enjoyed inspiring children to think about and make art. Her students’ work has been selected many times to appear in the New York City “PS Art” show, where their work was displayed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and some have even appeared on a digital screen in Times Square.

Skopp waited thirteen years for a parking spot in her Brooklyn apartment building, but now lives in New Jersey, where she enjoys an abundance of parking.
