Jennifer is available to create custom art for major life events, such as buying a new house, getting married, having a baby or special birthday. For an upcoming wedding, she could design a beautiful, personalized Ketubah (Jewish marriage document) for this important occasion. You may wish to have Jennifer paint a picture of the wedding dress, which would be a lovely memento or special gift for the bride.

How to Order a Ketubah

The process begins by speaking over the phone or communicating by email. We would discuss ideas, themes, symbols, and relevant images that are important to you, the couple. Prices range from $1200 and up, depending on the complexity of the design. The process should begin at least 3 months before the wedding.

Once you agree to go ahead with ordering the Ketubah, I will send you an invoice for 50% of the total amount. Since I’m an illustrator, but not a calligrapher, you would order the digital text from a printer. I have had good experiences with Ink with Intent. There is also Ketubah.com or you could choose another printer. Please specify that the text should be printed on high quality watercolor paper, such Arches, 100% rag paper. You could choose hot press, which has a smooth surface or cold press, which is textured. I could work with either one. Also, when ordering, choose “Text Only.” Have the printer ship it to my home address, which is:

Once I receive the printed watercolor paper, I will send you an invoice for 50% of the agreed amount. When I receive the payment by check or PayPal, I will work on a very detailed drawing based on our first conversation. The photo of the drawing will be sent to you by text or email. We will discuss if any changes need to be made. After you sign off, an invoice will be sent to you for the remaining 50% balance. When the payment is received, I will proceed to paint the final art using watercolors. A photo of the final art will be emailed to you when completed. The finished Ketubah will be shipped without a charge, if shipped within the United States.
